Thoughts/Notes/Travel Tips:
1. Ganza Restaurant is located at Burnham Park and its Bagnet dishes are highly recommended.
2. Food in Yoghurt House is ok but it is not as good as how other people hyped about it.
3. Sagada Guesthouse is also highly recommended. The staff are very friendly, and it is located near the jeep/bus terminal.
4. Watching the sunrise in Kiltepan Viewpoint is something that I would not mind doing everyday.
5. If you want to make the most out of your trip, you have to ride on top of the jeep while on your way to Sagada/Bontoc/Banaue. It will be one of the best ride of your life.
6. Upon arriving in Banaue, you might get overwhelmed by the number of people offering you a travel package to Batad. I think it is best to get an accommodation first and have your hotel arrange a tour for you.
7. If you plan on going back to Manila from Banaue, it is best to buy your bus tickets in advance because the seats get sold out pretty fast specially on a weekend.
8. The trek from the Saddle Point to Batad is NOT a walk in the park. It is very tiring specially if you do it in the middle of the day. The Saddle Point - Batad - Tappiya Waterfalls day trip is by far the most exhausting walk that I have ever experienced.
9. One of the highlights of this trip is having an actual person who is French tell me "bon appetit" before a meal. Hehe. French fangirling. :)
10. If your wallet and your passport does not have the capability to enable you travel to different countries, that should not hinder you from getting to know the cultures of the different parts of the world. The Philippines has heaps of foreign tourist that you could meet and could allow you to get a sneak peek of what it is like to be on the other side of the world.
